St Peter’s Italian Church is home to the largest Catholic Italian community in London. By 1850, over 2000 Italian immigrants were living in Saffron Hill Clerkenwell. They had no church of their own so in 1863 at the request of Vincent Pallotti - now Saint Vincent Pallotti – St Peter’s was built in the Roman Basilica style. Carly has her own links with the church. Her uncle was married there, and she performed there in a rapturously received concert last year. She will perform there again with a selection of Italian music some of which is featured on her new album.
